POLICE are on the hunt for callous vandals who smashed the window of a church while it was in use last week.
The Sauchie and Fishcross United Free Church was targeted at around 7pm on Wednesday, 21 January with a window being damaged.
Community Sergeant Kevin Chase said: “This particular incident took place whilst the church was being used.
“This incident could have potentially had far more serious consequences with persons inside at the time.
“I am appealing to the community for any information which can assist with the identification of any perpetrator.” Elsewhere, overnight on Friday, 23 January, Hanna’s Cars, Clackmannan Road, was ‘violated’ with items stolen from within the premises.
Sgt. Chase added: “The location of the premises is on a particularly busy road in Clackmannanshire.
“I am appealing to people who may have witnessed something suspicious on Friday night into Saturday morning to contact ourselves.”
