A community fruit tree planting event will take place in Tullibody this weekend.
On Saturday (31 January) from 11am until 2pm the Tullibody Community Garden will be hosting their event where people will have the chance to help out planting the first apple, pear and cherry trees near Paterson Place.
Refreshments will be available on the day where a kid's competition will also take place and people will have the chance to take a tour in the garden as well as find information on volunteering opportunities.
Organisers, who work closely with Tullibody Healthy Living, ask people that they wrap up warm for the event wearing old clothing they are not afraid to get a little dirty and sturdy footwear.
