A SAUCHIE teen has appeared in court charged with attempting to rob a man while armed with a knife.
The 17-year-old appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court where he denied the charge of assault with intent to rob.
The incident is alleged to have taken place at a property on Newmills, Tullibody, on 25 April 2014, when the accused was just 16.
He is alleged to have assaulted the man and demanded that he gave over his possessions.
It is then said he brandished a knife and struck him on the hand with it to his injury.
A trial date has been set for 14 July 2015, with a intermediate diet on 26 June.
