Bon voyage
THE school wished bon voyage to Jessica Young, the newly appointed head girl in S6, as she set off to Canada today for a month.
Jessica will be studying at Rothesay Netherwood School in New Brunswick, one of our associate Round Square schools. Jessica is the first pupil to take this opportunity to use the exchange programme.

J1 teambuilding
ON MONDAY September 7, the Junior 1 class at Beaconhurst was treated to a morning of team-building activities run by Mr Sanderson (Dangerous Dave), the outdoor learning instructor.
The children had a brilliant time working as a team to try and fit onto wooden beams.
They also enjoyed exploring the woods in the school grounds and worked together to help keep themselves safe. Finally, Junior 1 spent time on the school’s climbing wall learning how to climb safely and they really enjoyed Mr Sanderson’s challenges.
