POLICE have appealed for information following an act of "mindless vandalism" at the Family Centre in Tullibody.
Officers were called out to the site on Newmills, after vandals damaged fencing and furniture over the weekend.
A three-metre section of the wooden fencing was damaged, the fence had been pulled apart then propped back up against the remaining fence.
A bench within the play area had various scorch marks on it, caused by a lighter or similar, while the feature wooden toadstool seats had also had the bark pulled off.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "This is clearly a mindless act of vandalism which effects the most vulnerable living in our communities, local Police at Alloa would appeal for any information that may identify the culprits."
Anyone with any information is urged to call Alloa Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
