NEARLY 300 people turned out to enjoy Muckhart Village Open Garden Sunday last weekend.
The weather stayed dry for the fundraising event, organised by Muckhart and Glendevon Amenity Society.
Visitors were welcomed to the village throughout the day as part of Scotland Open Gardens.
A spokesperson for the society said: "The Muckhart and Glendevon Amenity Society coordinated the opening of nine local gardens under the auspices of Scotland Open Gardens.
"The gardens ranged from a small cottage garden to a formal parkland garden and the very interesting school garden which is maintained by the children.
"We had a most successful event where around 270 visitors were treated to beautiful gardens on a perfect day.
"We raised over £2400 which will be shared between Scotland Open Gardens charities and our village school and hall.
"We had very positive feedback from all our visitors from near and far and we would like to thank all our gardeners for their hard work in preparing their gardens."
