TILICOULTRY Girls Brigade is preparing to celebrate it's 40th birthday with an evening event for brigaders past and present.
The event is to take place in Tilicoultry Parish Church at 7pm on Wednesday, September 28. The present company will lead the service and all former members are invited to attend. After this, there will be the chance to look around a display of old photos and reminisce over some refreshments.
New girls are always welcome and the brigade meets every Wednesday at Tilicoultry Lesser Parish Hall with explores and juniors from 6.15pm until 7.30pm and brigaders at 7.30pm.
The brigade has been providing opportunities for girls to have fun, learn and make new friends since 1976 and continues to have plenty of girls joining.
It caters for girls of all ages with explorers, juniors and brigaders. For those wanting to continue the fun after turning 16 there is the option of becoming a volunteer leader.
