STAFF and volunteers at Hawkhill Community Centre have received a grant to help develop the centre as a cycle-friendly employer.
Last week, the group was handed a cheque for £5,000 from Cycle Scotland and it is hoped more people will begin pedalling their way across the county.
Many Hawkhill members are not car drivers and, as well as attending regular fun cycles, they often use bikes as their principal means of transportation.
Indeed, cyclists from all over Clackmannanshire use the centre as a meeting point for weekly rides, training and maintenance.
Everyone is welcome to attend and bikes can even be provided for those who would like to get involved.
For more information, call the centre on 01259 218139.
