A 20-YEAR-OLD woman is set to go on trial next week after pleading not guilty to threatening her former partner while holding a screwdriver.
The accused appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday where she maintained her pleas of not guilty to two charges.
It is alleged that on March 4 of this year, at Bank Street, she was in possession of an offensive weapon, namely a screwdriver.
She is charged with this under the abusive behaviour and sexual harm act as it was involving abuse of her ex-partner.
The second charge McNiven, of Simpson Drive, Falkirk, is facing is that on the same date she caused fear or alarm by shouting, swearing and acting aggressively towards her ex-boyfriend.
She will stand trial next Tuesday, May 1.
