WEE COUNTY charitable groups and good causes will have the chance to meet a range of funding organisations under the one roof in Alloa next month.
The second Clacks Connect event will take place at Alloa Town Hall and will welcome a number of funders as well as national organisations who offer support and advice.
Organisations from the Forth Valley’s third sector are invited to networking with local and national agencies, see what funding and support is available and learn more about the application process.
The event is, once again, being put on by Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface (CTSi).
This time around, the theme will be the Year of Young People, with hopes people below the age of 26 can be given a stronger voice on the issues that affect them.
Voluntary groups, good causes and local charities are invited to send representatives, ideally with a notepad and pen along with details of the project they are looking to secure funding for, including who the services are aimed at, what exactly needs hard cash and approximately how much is required.
Funders already confirmed for a stall at the event include Corra Foundation, Clackmannanshire Direct, Inkind Direct, Scottish Land Fund, Robertson Trust, Foundation Scotland, Postcode Lottery, Children in Need, Tesco Bags, DTAS/COSS, Grow Wild Scotland.
The fayre will take place at Alloa Town Hall on Thursday, September 20, between 10am and 2pm.
It is free to attend, but places need to be booked via clacksconnect.eventbrite.co.uk and more information is available by emailing Julie.mcgrath@ctsi.org.uk or by calling 01259 213 840.
