THE winter pantomime of a Wee County acting school has netted around £1,500 for charity.
It was a showcase of sheer local talent when Forefront Stage School put on show Dick McWhittington at Alloa Town Hall this month.
The cast once again got together for a picture when the company, led by principal Amber Rennie, announced the show raised a whopping £1,578, which will benefit Strathcarron Hospice.
As reported in the Advertiser a few weeks ago, Amber was full of praise as the performances rolled on.
At the time, she said: “We wanted to do something a little different this time and audiences have really bought into the tale. Already, there has been some terrific performances.
"Credit must go to Alan McHugh for writing such a slick script for us all to work with, and to choreographer Sarah Kerr and voice coach Lesley Caldwell.”
