TWO young males have been charged after a man suffered minor facial injuries in an Alloa town centre disturbance this week.

Police descended on the Drysdale Street and Shillinghill areas on Wednesday, February 6, afternoon with two vehicles and around half a dozen officers spotted on the streets.

Two 14-year-olds have since been charged in connection with the incident, which was reported at around 3.40pm on the day.

A Police Scotland spokesman told the Advertiser: “Two male youths have been charged following a disturbance in Drysdale Street, Alloa, on Wednesday, February 6, where a man suffered minor facial injuries.

"The 14-year-olds will be reported to the Children's Reporter."
