AN ALLOA woman has denied threatening and assaulting a child in her care at Alloa Sheriff Court.
The woman, 55, of Riverview, entered pleas of not guilty to two offences by letter on Monday, April 1.
The charges state that on November 8 last year, in Alloa and elsewhere, she assaulted a 14-year-old boy by seizing him by the hair, striking him on the head with her hand, seizing him by the head and repeatedly pushing him on the head.
They also state that on the same date she behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm by driving the child in a vehicle at excessive speeds, threatening self-harm and uttering threatening remarks towards him.
The case will proceed to trial on June 25, with an intermediate diet on June 10.
