TEMPORARY traffic lights on an artery in and out of Alloa could cause delays for Wee County motorists.

The lights are set to go up on the A907 Clackmannan Road in Alloa on Monday, April 8, and are scheduled to remain in place until Friday, April 19.

It is understood this is to allow for works undertaken by Scottish Power.

Elsewhere, driving, parking and loading will be prohibited on Alloa’s Hutton Park and Kingswell Park for road resurfacing and associated kerbing works.

The affected section for the former is from its junction with Argyll Place westward for about 100metres.

Kingswell Park will be restricted from its junction with Argyll Street southward for about 195metres.

Diversions will be in place via Argyll Place and Argyll Street.

The Traffic Regulation Order said: “The order is necessary to allow resurfacing works.

“Access will be available for residents where possible.”
