TWO cars were torched in a quiet Renfrewshire village in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police say the motors were set alight by a firebug in Kingswood Road, Bishopton, at around 1am.
Detectives investigating the incident say items were placed under the windscreen wipers of a silver Golf and Ford Transit van and set on fire.

Officers have no description of the suspect but believe it was a targeted attack.
It's the second incident of a car being set on fire in the area this week after an Audi A3 was torched in Paisley.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
