A WEE COUNTY man's golfing fundraiser to support his niece as she goes through brain tumour treatment has raised an incredible £3,350.
Chris Paterson described the amount as "amazing" after counting it all up earlier this month.
The fundraiser was held in April, and consisted of a Texas Scramble at Alloa Golf Club.
More than 60 players took part, and were treated to breakfast in the morning, then a two-course meal afterwards.
After that, everyone moved to Tillicoultry Golf Club for some live music.
All the funds raised will now go to a bank account in the name of Chris' four-year-old niece, Eva.
The youngster has been in and out of hospital for over a year to receive treatment for her condition, with her parents giving up their jobs to support her.
Speaking about his fundraiser, Chris said: "I'm overwhelmed by all the people that came.
"Without their support it wouldn't have been possible, so I'm overwhelmed and appreciate the help everyone's put in.
"It's going to help with Eva's continued treatment, and it's an amazing amount of money to raise."
