POLICE issued a warning after two bogus fundraisers were canvassing door-to-door in the Forth Valley.
The force is warning on social media that two women, pretending to be collecting money for the Maggie’s Forth Valley cancer support centre, were reported in Grangemouth.
Reportedly, the duo was asking people to sign-up to a direct debit.
Officers said on social media: “Maggie's Forth Valley do not fundraise door-to-door and these women were not acting on behalf of Maggie's.
“Do no give them any money or provide any personal information.
“Anyone with any information about this should contact Police Scotland 101, quoting incident 1100 of May 31.”
