SEVERAL police vehicles rushed to Drysdale Street in Alloa earlier today [Wednesday, July 17], after receiving reports of a female in need of assistance.
Officers were seen talking to people outside the Drysdale & Sons pub at around 1.15pm, where they remained on site for around 10 minutes.
Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted during that period.
It has since been confirmed that a woman has been taken to hospital in connection with the incident.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called to assist a female at a premises on this street who was then taken to hospital."
No further details are known at this time.
