YOUNGSTERS from the Wee County were treated to an afternoon of fun, games and plenty of songs when the Fun Box team stopped by Tillicoultry's Devonvale Hall last week.

Families turned out in decent numbers to the space-themed event on Sunday, July 28, and many of the younger audience members showed up dressed for a "space adventure".

Some came as astronauts with fabulous space helmets, while others appeared as aliens – and there were even a few Buzz Lightyears, ready to go to infinity and beyond.

Since they formed in 2014, Fun Box have aimed to take their own brand of family singalong entertainment across the length and breadth of Scotland.

At the heart of each and every one of their shows is a mysterious Fun Box, which contains everything that will be needed to keep people entertained.

And during their Clacks show, their space team – made up of captain Kevin, first officer Anya, navigator Gary and emperor of the universe Bonzo – made sure everyone had a good time.

Their performances included plenty of singalong fun for all the family, and pictures from the day show that everyone enjoyed themselves.

The Advertiser's photographer found no shortage of smiles while roving around the venue, and was pleased to report that the Fun Box show was out of this world.
