MEMBERS at Alloa Art Club are set to swap the studio for the street as they get ready to sketch the town next week.

On Monday, August 12, all members of the art club will face a challenging return after a summer break as have been given the task of putting the town onto paper.

Anyone interested can also join the group on their task which will be led by Bobby Rennie who has scenes exhibited in the Gallery on Mill Street.

For anyone looking to join in, all that is needed is an A5 sketch book and some fine point felt tips or crayons.

If the weather plays up, artists can sketch from within their cars.

Everyone is asked to meet in the lesser Greenside car park between Lidl and Ladybird Tearoom at 7.15pm.

The session will conclude at 9pm with a gathering in the Old Brewery.

There is a £5 fee for the evening, and bookings can be made through derenzalloa@gmail.com or by texting 07896 992 248.
