AN ALLOA woman has been given a non-harassment order after she admitted stalking her former partner last month.

Sarah Nairn pleaded guilty to the single charge when she previously appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court and was back up for sentencing last Thursday.

The charge the 23-year-old pleaded guilty to stated that on August 14 of this year, she caused her former partner to feel fear and alarm by shout, swear and follow him.

Sonia Cheema, representing Nairn, told the court that her client "struggles with her emotions at the end of relationships".

Ms Cheema added that Nairn is currently already on a community payback order (CPO) from May, something she is said to be engaging well with, as she is "seeking structure in her life".

Sheriff David Mackie imposed a non-harassment order on Nairn, of Lambert Terrace, for a period of 12 months, meaning she cannot contact or attempt to contact her former partner in any way.
