A FALKIRK resident has asked Advertiser readers to share a photo of a man proposing to his partner, in a bid to make sure the image reaches them.

Johdi McEwan, 20, hiked to the top of Dumyat in Menstrie with her friend on Saturday, October 19.

She said: “[We] got to the top and we were taking photos and had a wee sit down.

“Then this couple appeared, and they were having a big conversation.

“Then he got down on one knee, and we had our phones out [and took a photo].

“It was so lovely – it was just us two up the hill with the two of them.

“They were in hysterics.”

Soon after, Johdi and her friend started walking back down the hill, but realised they hadn’t mentioned the photo to the couple.

She said: “It wasn’t until we got halfway down that we said: ‘Do you think we should show them the photo?’”

Now, she hopes to make sure the pic reaches the newly engaged pair by sharing it on social media and with the Advertiser.
