WEE COUNTY residents planning for their special day had the chance to meet a range of wedding exhibitors at Alloa Town Hall on Sunday, October 20.

The Wedding Show event included a fashion show which kicked off during the afternoon, and exhibited a variety of styles available for the occasion.

On the catwalk models wore wedding dresses, kilts, flower girl outfits, mother-of-the-bride ensembles and more.

In the hall during the three-hour event there were also stalls showing off what services are on offer in and around the area.

These included information on photographers, jewellers, florists, venues, cakes, decorations, transport and more.

Lorraine Douglas, one of the event organisers, told the Advertiser: "We had our greatest variety of suppliers ever for the Alloa Wedding Show on Sunday.

“When we were planning the show we set to invite new interesting suppliers in order to appeal to as many people as possible.

"We would like to thank everyone that attended”.

Steven Campbell, who was also involved in organising the event, said: "Brides, grooms and their families visited Alloa Town Hall to find a great variety of suppliers who were on hand to help them plan their special day.

“We will now start planning for the next show which we are expecting to be the biggest and best yet."

The next Alloa Wedding Show is expected to be held in May 2020.
