A CLACKS charity shop has started its Christmas raffle recently with plenty of prizes on offer.
Strathcarron Hospice, on Alloa High Street, is raffling off prizes which have been donated by customers and local businesses.
These include a cut and blow-dry voucher from Morgan's Hairdressers, a meal voucher for Alloa's Bobbing John Wetherspoons and gift cards for Boots and the Sandwich Club.
Store manager Helen McLachlan is hoping to raise at least three figures.
She said: "We've just started but we're hoping to raise a good sum. There's lots of great prizes on offer."
All the prizes have been donated which means the shop has no outlay and 100 per cent of the money raised will be going back to Strathcarron.
Helen said: "We hoped to do a raffle last year but we left it until December and it was too late.
"This time we've started well before November so we've got around six weeks to raise as much money as possible."
The raffle costs £1 a strip and can be purchased in-store from 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday.
