THERE was a big day out in Alloa at the weekend, as Wee County women came together to help raise funds for vital breast cancer research.

The Forth Valley Ladies Day Out took place on Sunday, November 3, as the festive season is just starting to kick in.

The family friendly event, for all ages and indeed genders, was organised by Event On Trend and was held at Alloa Town Hall for the first time.

Stalls, food from a new caterer, snacks and drink and a variety of entertainment was on offer while the event also netted funds for a good cause.

Entertainers and acts included psychic medium Robert Lee, a display by Just Dance Elite Dance Studio in Sauchie, music by Lynn Goff and cabaret singing with Front Rowe Entertainment.

The afternoon also saw Alba Dance School in action with a showcase of their talents as well as singer Carly Campbell Moultrie on stage.

A raffle also took place and was an opportunity to help raise more funds.

Stallholders included Joyful scents by Jenna who is a Scentsy consultant, Smellies Lovely Stuff with luxury handmade products like bath bombs and candles, Sparkle by Elle with gel nails, Jaggy Thistle Craft with homeware and much more.
