THE Clackmannanshire Scouts are once again rolling up their sleeves to help provide their Christmas post service throughout the county.

The youngsters will be delivering festive post throughout the area, covering Menstrie to Muckhart and everywhere in between.

John Spruce, scout post coordinator for Clackmannanshire Scouts, said: “For nearly 30 years, Clackmannanshire Scouts have been helping people out during the Christmas period by delivering Christmas post.

“This activity is a great fundraising scheme as well as being of real benefit to our community.

"The Scout Post in Clackmannanshire is always popular, and we are hoping that the general public will be supporting us again this year.”

The stamps this year are 40p each. There are no size restrictions and all cards are the same price.

Deliveries will commence in mid-December and the last date for posting is 5pm on Wednesday, December 18 to allow delivery in time for Christmas.

Stamps will be on sale from Friday, November 22.
