A WEE COUNTY man has been charged with attempted murder.
The 23-year-old appeared in private at Alloa Sheriff Court last Wednesday after being charged with attempted murder, carrying a knife, theft and assault to injury.
The Advertiser understands that the victim remains in intensive care at Forth Valley Royal Hospital following the incident.
After his short hearing, the man, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody and will appear again in due course.
