HEAVY rain led to flooding in some parts of Clackmannanshire over the weekend.

Forth Valley Police Division issued a warning about the levels of surface water on the roads in the Wee County on Sunday, and many locals took to social media to report problems.

And the poor weather does not seem to be at an end, as the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning of wind and rain for Tuesday, December 10.

The forecast read: "Heavy rain and gusty winds may lead to travel disruption and localised flooding.

"Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely."

The warning will be in place throughout most of the day.

Sepa's Flooding Warning for Clacks has also been rescinded; however, the situation may change again tomorrow.

The notice read: "The Flooding Warning for Glenfoot Bridge at Marchglen is no longer in force.

"Due to improving weather conditions, the river levels on the Devon have fallen to below the Flood Warning threshold.

"However, river levels remain high, and with further heavy rain forecast for Tuesday the situation will be monitored and further updates will be issued as appropriate."
