STIRLING Farmers' Market is set to return to the city's Port Street this weekend.

The market will be open between 10am-4pm on Saturday, December 21, for the final time this year.

A total of 28 traders will be there, selling some of the finest food and seasonal treats from across Scotland.

All the usual favourites will be back such as chilli jams and jellies, fish and shellfish, wild venison, game and highland beef.

Also on sale will be pork, handmade preserves, sourdough breads, award-winning cheeses, Ayrshire vegetables, free range hen and duck eggs, as well as various sweet treats and award-winning pies.

For those still looking to fill their drinks cupboards before Christmas, a selection of craft beers, fruit wines, ciders and artisan gins will be on sale too.

And anyone looking for last minute Christmas gifts can peruse the wide range of handmade soaps, candles, jewellery and hampers.
