TILLICOULTRY Primary School held their Christmas concert recently with performances and prize-giving getting everyone in the festive spirit.

The concert took place on Wednesday, December 18, at the school.

A huge children's choir of P4 to P7 pupils performed for an audience of parents and teachers and there was also music from girls who play violin and clarinet.

The whole school performed on the day and the P1-3 kids put on a Nativity performance, with kids dressed up as the Three Wise Men, Mary and Joseph and sheep.

A raffle at £2 per entry for the school's parent council's first ever mega raffle proved to be a huge hit and there were some fantastic prizes on offer.

Victoria McCallum took the first prize which was a £100 Love to Shop voucher while second and third place won a £50 Amazon voucher and a Harrods Hamper.

Other great prizes given out included ballet and ski lessons, vouchers for The Salon, Dam Good Coffee and the Body Shop as well as bottles of whisky and vodka.

The Tillicoultry Parent Council, who drew the raffle, were thrilled with the money raised for the school.

A spokesperson said: "We would like to thank all parents and staff for their support with our first ever mega raffle.

"We raised over £1,000 which will be invested back into the school throughout the year."
