A NUMBER of ScotRail services to and from Alloa will be cancelled or delayed after a person was struck by a train.
The incident took place on the tracks between Glasgow Queen Street and Lenzie, with knock-on effects for the rest of the Glasgow-to-Alloa line.
Disruption is expected to last until around 3pm today, with those travelling on the network urged to check plan their journey in advance.
A statement from ScotRail read: "Unfortunately, we have had reports of a person being struck by a train between Queen St. and Lenzie. Because of this, services will be disrupted.
"We are working closely with emergency services and will update you once we receive more information from our staff on the ground."
Some First buses are currently accepting train tickets to help mitigate the effect of any cancelled services.
