AN ALLOA resident has appealed for help finding her dog after it went missing just a few days after Christmas.

Natasha Preston’s female Portuguese Podengo, called Daisy, has not been seen since late on Friday, December 27.

Daisy, who is ginger/red in colour, was out on a walk on the night in question, when it’s believed she became frightened and ran off.

At the time, she was wearing a pink coat, pink harness, and a black expandable lead – but she may have managed to remove some of those items since going missing.

She ran away from an area near Alloa Academy, and was seen at the back of Morrisons a few hours later.

More recently, one possible sighting placed her at the town’s skate park next to Park Primary.

Natasha, 27, told the Advertiser she got Daisy in April as a rescue dog, aged between two and three years old.

She also said: “It’s quite heart-breaking she's went missing, because I rescued her off the street, and she’s now alone on the street.”

Anyone who may have taken Daisy in is asked to take her to a vet as soon as possible, because she needs medication for a condition called Leishmaniasis.

And anyone who may be able to help reunite Daisy with her owner is asked to call 07960646286.
