A MAN who "comprehensively wrecked" his partner's house could not be sentenced last week as prosecutors were unable to detail the full extent of the damage.

Stephan Milne appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court on Thursday, January 9, having previously admitted charges of vandalism and abusive behaviour.

The 36-year-old caused a colossal amount of damage to his partner's Tullibody home on December 1 last year.

The woman came home on the date in question, and according to prosecutor Susannah Hutchison: "The bedroom had been smashed to pieces, the television had been smashed, there were smashed photo frames lying in the living room, blinds had been ripped off the windows and her laptop had been smashed."

Milne was still in the property when she arrived, after being confronted about the damage, he said: "F*****g don't start your s***e."

Despite hiding in a loft within the house, Milne was arrested shortly after when police arrived.

But during the journey to Falkirk Police Office, he repeatedly threatened officers.

In court last week, Sheriff Pino di Emidio asked Ms Hutchison what the cost of repairing the damage was.

However, the fiscal depute said she did not have the information to hand.

The sheriff then remarked that Milne had "comprehensively wrecked" his partner's home, and said: "I don't think I can deal with this matter at this stage.

"I don't have enough information about the damage. It's a very serious matter."

Sheriff Emidio then deferred sentencing Milne, of Newmills in Tullibody, until February 6, and continued his bail meantime.
