A YOUNG driver has been reported to the procurator fiscal following a crash in Coalsnaughton last week.
The incident on the B9140 Wardlaw Street took place after 2pm on Tuesday, January 14.
Pictures show that two garden walls, a lamp post, a gas meter, the street fronts of a number of properties and a parked car were damaged.
The road was closed for several hours following the collision.
Police Scotland said there were no serious injuries.
A spokesperson told the Advertiser: "We were called to reports of a one car crash around 2.15pm on Wardlaw Street near Coalsnaughton on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.
"The road was closed for a few hours to allow for enquires and uplift of the vehicle.
"It was reopened at 5.15pm. No one was injured in the crash.
"A 19-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal."
