PENSIONERS enjoyed a delayed Christmas dinner at an Alloa pub last week.

The unusual timing of the annual festive occasion at Crams Bar came about due to delays after the usual venue was not available.

However, more than 30 folks got to enjoy some mince and tatties in the end, along with plenty of laughter when the afternoon event eventually went ahead last Wednesday, January 29.

The pub on Alloa’s Candleriggs was packed on the day with fun games with prizes and later a live singer entertaining those in attendance/

Nibbles followed the lunch while bar staff were busy to make sure no one was thirsty.

There were smiling faces all around and a warm atmosphere, owners saying that everyone had a good time.

Afternoons featuring live singers had been popular at the venue with pensioners in the past and owners are now hoping to revive the tradition.
