THE driver of a car that crashed into a lamp post in Alloa earlier today is being sought by police.
The collision happened sometime before 9.25am when officers were called to the scene at Shillinghill Roundabout and they are now looking for the driver, “who was not with the car”.
Police were seen directing traffic at the large roundabout in the town on Wednesday, March 11, morning following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesman told the Advertiser: “Police were called around 9.25am to the Shillinghill Roundabout in Alloa, after a car crashed into a lamp post.
“Officers are currently directing traffic at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver, who was not with the car."
