MEMBERS of the Stirling and Clacks Boys' Brigade came together for a LEGO Challenge Day in Dunblane earlier this month.
Around 70 anchor boys (P1-P3) and juniors (P4-P6) met at St Blane's Church for a full morning of technological challenges and movie or bible-themed fun.
The aim of the event was to give the local Boys' Brigade's younger members a chance to develop skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematical subjects.
Their creations included a Roman motorised horse and chariot being taken on with glee by the young engineers.
During the morning, the boys also took on mosaic challenges, made scenes and models from Bible stories and worked together with new friends to create motorised tools
Fraser Boyd, club secretary, said: "Boys' Brigade is always looking to enhance and expand its programme.
"We're increasingly looking at how our local area can provide activities that complement what our volunteer leaders are planning for their weekly meetings.
"With the completely revamped programme for anchor boys and junior section this year, we decided to add new events such as this LEGO day and an outdoor centre day in April to add to the traditional competitions and trips we still do and love."
