THERE was overwhelming support at a Clacks charity's first-ever bingo tea.

Resonate Together held the occasion last month to help raise funds toward the £30,000 a year overheads it requires to keep going.

Prizes for the event were donated from across the county and, as illustrated by the picture, the event was packed to the brim with people.

Many volunteers donated home baking, their time for preparations and helped run the event, earning a nod of appreciation.

Donna McGee, who attended the Alloa event from Alva, said: "It was such good fun and for Resonate's very first bingo event; it was a great success, I couldn't believe the long queue when I first arrived.

"I am definitely going to the next one."

The night raised more than £500, a fantastic sum when every penny counts toward the running of the building on North Castle Street.

Thanks went to all who went along with special mentions going to Sharn McCafferty, Gemma Roach and Mary "the brilliant" Baker.
