THERE has been no increase in the number of Forth Valley patients testing positive for Coronavirus, despite national figures showing a steady rise.

On Friday, there were 85 cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Scotland, with six in the Forth Valley area. The number rose to 121 on Saturday, March 14, with the Forth Valley figure remaining the same.

There has now been a total of 3,715 Scottish tests concluded, with 3,594 tests confirmed to be negative.

Large public gatherings across the country have been cancelled, with the footballing calendar postponed across the country.

Holidaymakers have been urged to make their way home to the UK, with airlines such as Jet2 suspending operations and the United States extending their European travel ban to the UK.
