PUPILS in Dunblane will return to class tomorrow, following a coronavirus "deep clean" on site.

Stirling Council took the decision to close the school over the weekend after a pupil rested positive for Covid-19.

Officials say a deep clean has now been carried out and the building will open as normal tomorrow (Tuesday, March 17).

Students, parents and, indeed, members of the public are being warned again to watch out for symptoms of the virus and to take action when appropriate.

The latest advice from NHS Inform states:

  • If you develop a new continuous cough and/or high temperature (37.8 degrees centigrade or higher) stay at home for 7 days, even if you think your symptoms are mild
  • Those with mild symptoms do not need to call their GP or NHS24 (111).
  • If you are concerned about more serious symptoms, or if your symptoms worsen, you should seek medical advice from your GP in hours, or NHS24 out of hours on 111.
