AN EASTER break Adventure Clubs organised by the SSPCA set to take place in the Wee County next month has been postponed.
Scotland's animal welfare charity was set to trial the project for 7-13-year-olds at four locations across Scotland for one week during the school holidays.
Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the club has been postponed and will now take place in summer alongside the charity's other summer clubs.
The Clacks club was scheduled run at the National Wildlife Rescue Centre at Fishcross, with the other three taking place at the rescue and rehoming centres in Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh and Dunbartonshire.
Gilly Mendes Ferreira, head of education, policy and research, said: “Due to the current situation and government guidelines around coronavirus, sadly we have made the tough decision of postponing our Adventure Clubs until the summer.
“The safety of the children in our care and our team is our most important concern at this time.
“The clubs in summer will run in the same format and in the same areas."
Funds raised through the clubs will be used to support the charity's work to build a better world for animals.
