A MAN is fighting for his life in hospital after being found in the steet this morning.
Police say he was discovered with serious injuries in Queen Margaret Drive, near to Maryhill Road, at around 8.30am.
He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where medical staff describe his condition as critical.
Detectives have launched an investigation and say they are still trying to determine how he came about his injuries.
Eye-witnesses say they have seen police scouring the area today as they continue to search for clues.
A police spokesman said: “Around 8.30 am on Friday, 20 March, 2020, a man was discovered with serious injuries in Queen Margaret Drive near to Maryhill Road, Glasgow.
“He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where medical staff describe his condition as critical.
“Police Scotland officers are continuing enquiries to establish the identity of the man and how he came about his injuries.”
