A BODY has been recovered from the River Clyde in the search for a young man who went missing after a night out in Glasgow.
Police say the family of Lewis Simpson have been informed after making their discovery near Mavisbank Gardens at around 11.45am today.
The 20-year-old was last seen in Montrose Street in February and police are treating his death as unexplained.
They say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding it a formal identification will take place at a later date.
The tragic news comes just a month after police launched an appeal to find Lewis when he went missing following a night out with friends at the Strathclyde Student Union.
