AN INQUIRY has been launched into an alleged case of indecent exposure along the Menstrie to Cambus cycle path this morning.

Police have appealed for any information regarding the incident, which is said to have taken place just before 11am on Thursday, March 26.

The Menstrie Mains Residents Association shared a post on Facebook from a woman, which stated: “Just been out for a run this morning up the Menstrie to Cambus cycle path and a young man has just exposed himself and made inappropriate comments.”

According to the residents association, the suspect is male, in his mid-20s, white with brown hair and a stocky build, and was wearing a navy top, light blue shorts and trainers.

He was allegedly posing as a jogger at the time of the incident.

Police have appealed for more information.

A police spokesperson told the Advertiser: "Police Scotland received a report relating to an indecent exposure on a path between Menstrie and Cambus shortly before 11am on Thursday, March 26.

"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who may have information can call 101, quoting incident 0925 of March 26."
