A DEDICATED staff member at Alloa's Braehead Golf Club has retired after 20 years working for the club.

A presentation was recently held to mark Anne Ross' retirement from the position of bar manager there.

She received gifts from the staff, members of the club, and from the ladies section and senior section members as well.

Anne also had a retiral party in the club, where friends and relatives attended to help her celebrate.

In a statement sent to the Advertiser, a spokesperson for the club said: "[Anne] joined the club some 20 years ago and, in that time, has been a valued and loyal member of the team serving thirsty golfers in need of refreshment after a round of golf and attending to their needs at social functions throughout the years.

"She will be sadly missed by the regulars; however, she does not intend to be a stranger and hopefully will be seen at the club from time to time.

"All the staff and members of the club wish her a long and happy retirement."
