NO COMPULSORY redundancies were needed at Forth Valley College following recent consultation.
However, a number of staff took up offers under the college's voluntary severance scheme, thus avoiding the need for compulsory redundancies.
Joint consultation on the matter concluded last week, impacting on 67 members of staff, accounting for around a tenth of the workforce.
Face-to-face discussions with line managers were meant to take place thereafter, but these may be delayed due to the current college closure in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
The college confirmed that those who were at risk will have an offer of employment with salary conservation for four years.
In addition to a conserved salary, existing staff transferring to the new instructor assessor post will also retain their current pension provider.
The college's management team says it continues to engage with both EIS-FELA and Unison local branches.
A spokesperson said: "We recognise that particularly for those staff directly affected, this process is difficult, and even more so, in the unprecedented circumstances we now find ourselves in due to the coronavirus crisis."
