A VITAL advice service in the Wee County is continuing operations in unprecedented times.

Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau (Clacks CAB) is offering a full service on the phone and via emails at a time when it is needed more than ever.

There are 22 members of staff and volunteers working remotely to ensure free and impartial advice can be provided to the Wee County community.

The wider Citizens Advice Scotland network is also mobilising to meet increasing demand and the local CAB will be one of four supporting a national helpline with a capacity of 2,000 calls a day.

Further details on that helpline are expected this week.

People are being encouraged not to hesitate getting in touch with Clacks CAB in the current worrying times.

There is advice on benefits, employment rights, energy issues and much more.
