A CLACKS man has been arrested after armed police responded to a midnight call-out to a property in Tillicoultry.
Officers attended at an address on Kingseat Drive on Friday, May 1, and a 51-year-old male was taken into custody.
The Advertiser understands that firearms officers were deployed to the incident, and weapons were recovered from the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Just prior to midnight on Friday, officers were alerted to a concern for person call at a house in Kingseat Drive in Tillicoultry.
"Offers attended and a 51-year-old man was subsequently arrested.
"A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
"There was no danger at any time to the general public."
