A SELL-OUT wellbeing event cancelled because of the coronavirus outbreak has moved online.
The team at Kadampa Meditation Centre in Glasgow had planned to stage a conference on May 16 featuring Gen Dornying, a Buddhist monk and resident teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre in Melbourne.
The Trades Hall event had to be cancelled because of Covid-19.
Now the conference - How to Be Kind to Yourself - will take place online from 10am until 1pm on the same date.
A spokesperson for the centre, which opened in Glasgow in 2013, said: “At a time when mental health awareness is so important, this event offers a chance to tap into inner peace and connect with a deep sense of calm and well-being.
“How to Be Kind to Yourself will explore techniques for enjoying stable self-esteem and happiness, and the potential for self-transformation through the practice of meditation. Everyone is welcome.”
