GARDEN centre customers have helped to raise thousands of pounds for young people with cancer.
Shoppers at Dobbies, which has a branch at Braehead, have contributed to a £73,000 donation made by the chain to Teenage Cancer Trust.
The charity is the only one in the UK dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer sufferers.
Seven people aged 13 to 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day.
The donation comprised funds collected from across all 68 stores prior to the centres temporarily closing in March due to COVID-19 restrictions.
